What I Offer
I teach various age groups using both online and physical platforms. For children, my courses include STEM, Communication, and Kidpreneur. For adults, I teach a variety of digital skills, how to leverage technology to build a small business and entrepreneurship.
Online and in-class Math Classes
This class explores aspects of coding, ICT, and Robotics. I teach children coding on platforms such as Scratch, Code.org, Code4Kids, and more. In our ICT classes, I teach practical computer operations. Lessons in robotics incorporate basic concepts about robotics engineering and artificial intelligence. We explore science from various perspectives, carry out experiments, and build structures. We use lots of YouTube videos and work with many STEM-based organizations like Science Buddies. We do a lot of math using a platform like Khan Academy and a global math curriculum. Our math classes deviate from traditional math teaching methods. I teach with unique methods such as the note-in-math method and the top-notch math teaching methods by Professor Boaler.
I coach teachers to incorporate technology in classroom teaching. I help them establish their after-school programs. I guide them on the best methods to teach math for children to understand easily and develop interest in math.
In this course, I teach children to have an entrepreneurial mindset. They learn skills in money management, writing a business plan, business ideas generation, innovative thinking, resilience, and creativity. I also teach them communication and collaboration as important business skills. This course has 50 business ideas children can choose from and build their businesses as they become youths.
This class cuts across youths, adults, teachers, and workers. I provide the platform for these groups to learn digital skills to help them work remotely or build their businesses. I expose them to numerous online platforms, resources, and tools to help them make the transition to tech or entrepreneurship. Classes are held during the evening.
